Our Lust Is Out of Control

The scene opens in the cafeteria, where the two young lovers are having lunch. They've been flirting all day, and they're about to get into a fight when they realize that they can't go to the lunch line together. The two of them decide that they'll stop flirting and go to work, but they've got to admit that their love for one another is getting out of control. The narrator tells us that love makes people lose reason, and that's what this scene is all about. He says that he thought that they would enter a life of happiness, but the future seems full of thorns. He asks her what she's doing, and she tells him that she works at a makeup company. He tells her that he's pumped up for a makeup shoot the next day, but he doesn't want to take the day off to rest. He wants to get the job done ASAP. She confesses that her partner is her boss at the makeup company, Mr. Lorry. He's the one who's been working on her makeup for the past few weeks.
