Back at school, the Governess and her friends are allowed to look around the first floor of the building. The Governess complains that she's nervous and wants to do something "bad" with her friend. She wants to kiss him, but she can't because they're in the school and it's forbidden to do so there. She's also worried that he's going to hit her again and again, so she wants to make sure he doesn't. She tells him that she made up her mind not to do it today either because she was worried about him, or because she wanted to make him feel better about it. She asks him to sleep over so she won't have to worry about him again. He's so sorry, she tells him. He apologizes for being a "bad boy friend" and says that sex is "proper" even though he thinks it through for her and someone who worries about her. He tells her that he loves her and that he wants to have sex. He wants to be able to say this to her once they get home.
