The scene opens with Hiroshi and Sora having a drink together. Hiroshi asks Sora to sing a song for him, but she refuses, saying that she has to go to sleep. She tells him that she wants to hear him sing, but he refuses to listen to her because he wants to prove that he can sing better than she can. He asks her to lend him some water, and she agrees. He tells her that the bet was a good one, and he hopes that she will remember that he promised to take care of her from now on.
