This chapter opens with a clanging sound. It's Cai Ming-liang's turn to attack, but he's able to dodge the first wave of attacks. He's not an inferior fighter, he says, and he'd be a god-level warrior if he weren't stuck in the middle of a battle with a bunch of other guys. He also points out that Cai Ming is a bit stubborn, and can't wait to fight again. He says that he has to wait for the siren to recite "The Tidal Requiem" a second time so that he can defeat Cai Ming again, and that he'll definitely be unable to do so with his magic. He wonders what's wrong with the battle outfit she's wearing, and wonders if it's the same battle outfit that she wore in the first chapter.
