In this chapter, we learn that the first battle of the season took place in the "zero" arena, and that it was won by none other than "master mobius" . This is the first time that a guild battle has taken place in "zero," and it's a big deal in the gaming community. We also learn that "master" is the name of the guild's leader, and "malone" is his nickname for the dark mage. In other words, this is the same guy who won the "Battle of the Sexes" , and who is now the leader of the "Dark mage" guild. We learn that this is also the guy who defeated the "Master" guild in the previous year's "Battle Royale," and that he's the current leader of "the Dark mage." This is just the tip of the iceberg, of course, and we're not even sure who this "master," "the master," or "the dark-mage" is. We're just guessing, but it seems like the "dark-mage," "Malone," and "the Master" are going to be fighting it out for the title of "best player in the world."
