In this chapter, we are introduced to a number of new characters, each of whom is a member of the magical system known as the "npc system" . The first of these characters is named "Crystal" , and she is the daughter of the master of the "Stone Mine." She is also known as "the Little Girl," "the One Who Is Little," and "the Master of the Stone Mine." We learn that she was born 800 years ago, and that her name means "master of the place." She tells us that she is now the "Master of Stone Mine," and that she and her daughter are in the process of searching for the "gilding stones." She says that she will make her daughter pay a price for being "bullied." She also says that her daughter has been "single" for 800 years, during which time she has been in love with her daughter.
