About This Chapter
In the forest, the elf tells his brother that he has left and followed him for a while. He asks his brother if he still wants to go back to the land of the rolands. He says that he is an elf and a human, and that his tribe should not allow him to do so. He wants his brother to leave the forest with him, and he tells him that he hasn't yet been to the kingdom, but that he'll be able to help him after the empire is established. The elf asks about barossa's identity, but he doesn't want to take her back because he's afraid she'll reveal her non-human identity in the future. He also wants to send his brother out of the forest so that he can go home and forget about his brother in peace. He's not a man, he says, and if he lets his brother go back, he won't be counted as a man. But if he does, he will be a bastard. The two of them wait for the tulip family to come back, and the elf asks why they haven't returned yet to the camp. He then asks if he needs to ask his brother's consent first, and his brother says that his master is unconscious and injured. He invites his brother back to explain everything.
