In this chapter, we are introduced to Mr. Gyan, the Manager of the Tulip Family's Workshop. He is a kind and generous man, and we learn that he is engaged to a girl named chen. We learn that the girl is from the elf tribe, and that she is a member of the barossa family. We also learn that Mr. Ganymede, the elder brother of Barossa, has come to see the girl, and he is looking for his brother's brother, who is also looking for the girl. The girl is very excited to meet Mr. gyan, and she tells him that she has been looking for him in the forest. He introduces her to chen, and the girl tells him about her relationship with the tulip family, and how lucky she is to be able to escape from the beastmen. She also tells him how lucky he is to have been able to take care of her. He tells her that he does not want to hide the news from her, but he does want her to know that the consequences of her decision would be "inevitable"
