In this chapter, the "saint" of the church of light is in a standoff with the "abominable" temple. She has served the gods her whole life and has been worshipped by thousands. She fears that if the temple discovers about her, they will kill her. She begs them to burn the "beast," but they refuse to do so. She says that she is finished with the temple and that she will stay with him. She tells him that she has been happy during their time together, and she does not want to hide anything. She hopes that the "bunch of stinky bastards" who are making her life hard will not attack her anymore. The elf camp is peaceful and happy, and everyone is having a good time. They ask her to show them some of her treasures, but she says that since the elf camp knows she has them, they must also know about them. She slips away from one of the 30 or so tulip caravan camps, where she knows she will be rude to the other guests.
