About This Chapter

We also learn that the traitors have been plotting against the Union, and that they've been using the Union flag as a cover to hide their identity. We learn that this is the first time that the Union has ever had a flag with a palm print on it, so it's a big deal. The Union soldiers are thrilled to see their comrades back from the front, and they all congratulate each other on their victory. Everyone is happy to see them, and the Union leader, Roger, says that it would be a great honor for him to be there with them. He also says that the true heroes are the ones who gave their lives for their country, and not the other way around. Roger then asks if he's finally ready to return to battle, and he says that he got a call from Nina, who told him that he could come back to the front immediately if he wanted to.
