About This Chapter
In this chapter, we learn that the mythical forces are warning the Union soldiers to prepare for an attack. The Union commander, Peter thump, tells his men that they must send the simulation results to the front line command headquarters. If the predictions are correct, the Union will lose a lot of men and will stay in the tunnel for a long time. The worst part, he says, is that they can't get in touch with their leader, rashid. He says that he's been calculating the Union's victories crazily, but that the imperial army hasn't yet retreated to the tunnel. He's curious about how he came up with such a great game. He reads some ancient tactics books when he was bored, and he tried them. The combat simulation is very complicated technology. since the calculation method is not can calculate all of the combat results. In modern ages, when technology took over, nobody was interested in this stuff. Peter thumps that if the Union goes by themselves, they won't stand a chance. But if they divide their forces, they can attack the tunnel and get the supplies they need first. They'll be ready to escape. But once they leave, they'll become primitive people, using guns and mechas against fighters in the wilderness. And they're going to be dead before they feel the pain. They are standing on a cliff. The only ones they can depend on now are themselves and their companions by their side.
