In this chapter, we learn that the reconnaissance battalion is led by a fatso named rashid. The fatso is a member of the 16th Armored Mecha Division, and he has come to fight for the honor of a woman named "lady iris." The narrator tells us that the fatso's nickname is "fatso" because he's fat and ugly. The narrator then tells us about how rashid can scold anyone three times without uttering a single dirty word. He also says that rashid seems to be on the wrong track with the women of the division. He asks the team leader if he knows where his dormitory is. The team leader says he doesn't know, and the narrator tells him that reconnaissance battalions are only good at bullying girls. He then tells the captain to take him to his dorm. The captain is upset that he is fighting for a woman's honor. He tells the narrator to show the battalion commander what his reconnaissance battalion got. He says he'll only need a single punch to take the captain down. He wants to show him his special skills, which he says are among the best in the entire division of armored mechas. He'll show the captain his mecha armor, which is made out of a piece of armor. He claims that this armor is the second generation bling of the Union.
