About This Chapter
The fire dragon says that if he's pleased with the food, he'll let his companions leave. He's worried that they'll think that he doesn't have the magic to cook, but he reassures them that he can do it. He asks if they have any medicine to help him heal his arm, but they don't. He tells them that if they rip both his arms off, he won't be able to do anything with them. He wants to know if they can lend him something to use to cook for him. He begs them to lend him some knives so he can cook for them. They agree, and the two of them set up a fire to heat up the food. They compare their abilities to each other's, but the fire dragon points out that they can't use the same magic as each other because they're so different. He says that his magic is very low, while his friends' is very high. He warns them to stop dilly-dallying and start cooking, since the meat will soon become tender. He also warns them not to eat the meat too quickly, since it's too hot. They move to the other side of the room and prepare to leave.
