This chapter's epigraph comes from a conversation between the guildmaster and the wind god. The wind god says that the magic of the ice and fire sounds like a thunderclap, but it's not good. It's too powerful for him, he says, and he's afraid that he'll be harmed by it. He also says that it takes too much time for him to chant the three incantations required to perform the magic. The first stack of ice is the compression, the second is the mid-air fusion, and the third is the chrome sealing of ice ball. The crack in the ice is a level five bomb, which means that the ice ball has been sealed again.
