In the midst of a snowstorm, the goddess asks the ice to send her to the "lost opposite shore" to find out what's going on. The elder sister reassures her younger sister that everything's been taken care of, and that she's not suited to being an assassin. The younger sister is confused, she says, and she'll have to report back to the chief, who will assign her to another position. The older sister says that she used to be a spy, but now she can be a combatant. The ice says that there's one technique for dealing with someone who flies in the sky, and it's this technique: "bite graft onto tree / ke wall / technique" .
