In this short scene, Haruki introduces himself as a sophomore at the South College in Yokohama. He introduces himself to his teacher, Seigo, and tells him that Seigo is a great teacher. Haruki asks Seigo if he has seen all of the 16 scenes in the Toshogu shrine, and Seigo says that he has. He tells Haruki that his father gave him a copy of the story when he was a child, and Haruki says that the story is about a baby, an adult, three monkeys, and a second scene in which a child gets married and has children. He says that from then on, he will be able to be treated well by his teachers and his family.
