Back at the hotel, Manaka asks why the two of them were meeting today, and seigo replies that it was business related. Manaka wonders if they could have met by chance, but seigo says that they were acting strange because they knew each other only a little. He says that he'll find out if they were all "assumptions" . He'll also find out whether they were just meeting by chance or if they're just assumptuous as they seem.
