In this short scene, Hiroyuki and his wife, Kiyoko, are in a public place when the director, Samejima, appears. Hiroyuki, who has just returned from a fashion shoot, asks Kiyoko if she would like to have coffee with him. Kiyoko replies that she would, but that she is with Hiroyuki's wife, who is shocked to see her husband flirting with another woman. The director, however, does not want to be alone with his wife. He wants to hold her hand, and they decide to go to the nearest furniture store to buy a new bed.
