The three of them decide to split up the fragments of the moon and hide them somewhere. They don't want the lunarians to know where they're hiding, so they'll just hide them in the middle of the ocean and hope that the enemy doesn't move on them. They're not sure if the enemy will move on, but they'd rather wait and see. The three decide to have dinner with the princess tonight, and the princess thanks them for coming. She tells them that the prince has come back, and they all want to know what's going on. The princess says that she's just learning about how happy her husband is living with boron, and that the little princess is coming to dinner with them. She says that they've all come to ask her something, and she'll tell them what they need to know. She gives them a light, which she calls "up curry," and says that it tastes like a "mild and refreshing sensation" of looking at a "sharp light" after a "midsummer evening shower" . It's like looking at the light from a blue flower, she says, and then filtering it with a single flower . The light, she tells the princess, is like "the mushy stuff inside of you . . you put that mushy thing inside you, and it comes out again." The princess tells the gang that if the two of them fail, they get to stay with the prince, and if they fail, she gets to be with her husband. The only thing that matters to her is that her husband wants to "go to nothingness"
