The next morning, the men discuss the changes that have taken place in the battlefield. They have conducted five reconnaissance missions in the past 30 days and have found no significant change in the enemy's numbers. The men decide that they will send out some more scouts in the next seven days to see for themselves whether or not the enemy has changed its appearance for the winter.
