The ice floes have taken Cyrano's armor, and Cyrano is embarrassed to wear it. Cyrano wants Cyrano to stop using it, and he suggests that Cyrano attach a sword to his hands so that he can fight directly. He tells Cyrano not to worry about his arms, because the powder will "come off" when they're stretched out. He's not worried about Cyrano, Cyrano tells him, because he's "embarrassed" to wear his armor all over again.
