About This Chapter
Back at school, Urasagi tells his mom that he's fine. He's not worried about what happened at the park, though, because he'll soon be back at school. The police officer tells him that he can eat lunch at the police station, but he doesn't have the kind of powers that the police were looking for. He thinks that the staring thing is bad for a growing boy, and he worries that the kid is getting sick of the place. The officer says that he will have to prove himself in front of five people. The first thing he wants to know is which of the five people has the same powers as he does . He wants to hear what the kid has to say, so he asks him to tell one thing: first, that the person is a liar, and second, that he is a thief. The kid says that the man is a serial killer, and the officer points out that he seems to have met a lot of people recently who were almost killed by the same person. He suggests that maybe the kid should tell the man one thing, and then he should tell another thing.
