The two students are in the middle of a fight when they hear a knock on the door. It's shinichi, and he tells them to hurry up and get away from the fighting. He also tells them that he's going to stab one of the students in the guts. The two of them decide that they're going to have to fight, too, since they have two weapons: shinichi's sword and the other student's dagger. They decide that if they take each other on head-on, they'll lose, but if they fight effectively, they can win.
