Someone thought that if only half the population lived, how many forests would be burned? Someone else thought that we had to protect the "future of all life" by destroying all the plants and animals on the face of the earth. Everyone is freaking out about a snake in his room and a dream in which the snake pokes a hole in his hand and digs in. He wakes up in the middle of the night and tells himself that the dream was a dream and that he's not going to see a doctor because he doesn't want to go crazy. He tells himself to go home and get dressed for work because he'll have to be late for class. He's also worried about his hand, which he can't even feel.
