In this short scene, we get a brief glimpse into the mind of the Governess's son, Konstantine. Konstantine tells his father that he must kill nova if he wants to save his father's life. The Governess tells Konstantine that his father has been living in the same building for twenty-plus years and that he has mutilated countless people there to satisfy his scientific greed.
