Once his body is healed, den leads the barjacks on a rampage. He's worried that alita knows that he's his main form, and he wants to make sure that she doesn't kill him. In return, he'll let the citizens of the scrapyard go back to their homes. But the factories won't let him do that, and life continues as it always has in the scrap-yard. The only thing that makes him happy is that he can use his console to find out what's going on in the world. He can't even remember the battle he fought against alita, because the metal plate he was using to treat his illness was actually the same metal plate that was used to destroy the demon den. The group is all set, and they'll see what happens. If he does something that sacrifices himself, then they're going to have to kill him in order to keep him alive. They'll build a new city on millions of corpses, but the history they've built with blood will never end.
