In this chapter, we learn that all of the players have been assigned their starting positions on the track. The first player to pick up a wettzeug is the newcomer to the game, and he's the one who's won the last three races. He's also the one with the best chance of winning the race. The only thing that might stop him from winning is if alita gets crushed in a fight. He goes to the champion and asks him to try him out. The champion, 41 chakram, is third in the game. He lost a practice fight to alita, but he still has the number 99 on his helmet as a sign of his superiority. The fight is over, and peshkabz's oil is leaking out of his helmet. Peshkabz is dripping oil onto the track, and it's clear that aydakki has the upper hand. Alita tries to get back in the fight, but she's already committed a foul. She's probably going to lose to ido if he leaves, and she probably won't be able to fight ido's brother, the big brother, if he does as well. So, alita's going to have to fight big brother as well if she wants to win the race, and that's not going to be easy. She needs to be careful around her, because if she loses, she'll be out of luck.
