In a soliloquy, the monster tells the girl that she has a new body, too. He wants to tear her limbs off and fashion her into a pendant that he will wear over his chest all the time. He says that the grind cutter is running on top of it, and that he doesn't want to think too much about it. He thinks that if he were crueler, he'd have torn her to pieces already. He's not worried about the baby, though, because he knows that she'll never come back. The monster says that he'll get Koyomi back, and he's confident that the panzer-kunst will be able to break the grind-cutter's blade. The only hope for the girl, he says, is within her "basal ganglia," the part of her brain that controls muscle movement. The empty body of the monster is full of something, and it flickers. He welcomes the girl to his hometown, which is "ruined" by the corruption of "everyone else above me." He says he has no use for her anymore, since his mother flushed him down in a toilet and threw him in there with all the crap. He wonders what the infernal beast is doing, and says that his only opponent is him.
