Meanwhile, back at the hotel, the cops are trying to figure out what's going on with the drug lord. They're trying to get him arrested, but he's not paying them any attention. So they kill him, and then they run off to find a way to get rid of him. They don't know where they're going, but they've got a plan: they'll just wait for the cops to come back and arrest him. The cops are about to kill him when they hear the sound of someone jumping out of a window. They try to stop him, but no one will help them, so they let him go.
