This chapter opens with a description of the blind spot of the surveillance cameras in the willow room. The narrator describes the scene as disturbing from the internal cameras. The naipa agent was wearing a spinal column made by a company called "the neutron company" . When they tried to put back the pieces of the brain together, they did not fit. They have determined that the brain is fake. The injured secretary is the only person who knows about the brain case. He shows the narrator the scene in which the minister is seen exchanging bodies with the cyber geisha. He says that the minister enjoys switching bodies when he gets drunk. The next time the minister and his wife go to the bath, the naipa agents who were killed enter the bath room. He tells the police that the first scream that he heard was that of the secretary. He also says that he thought the second scream was the director's, but that was not how he heard it. He thinks that the police line does not cross the line between the police and the government. He wonders if the line is not cross because the police do not cross it. The minister and the cyber Geisha go to get their bodies. The secretary sees the brain cases being switched. He gives the fake minister an encrypted copy of the report that cannot be copied. The fake minister is on his way to America.
