The blacksmith is dead, and the only person who can undo the cuffs on his body is Samia, the leader of the witches' gang. Samia asks the blacksmith to help her find the body, but the blacksmith is too weak to undo the body's cuffs. He tells Samia that they are allies, and that he will help her in any way he can. He warns Samia not to go near the girl, but Samia tells him to wait for his father, who is the principal of the academy. He says that the cleansing center is a place for "cultivating energy" and that Samia should take the principal away. He adds that he is willing to help the girl even if she does not have any magic, because she will be his slave from now on. The rain stops, and Samia realizes that the two girls must have killed their chief together. They are one gang, he says, and they must all have been killed by the same person. He points out that only the black smith can undo all their cuffs, and only the three gang leaders are allowed to do so. If they don't find the blacksmith and kill him, they will all become slaves to him.
