In this short scene, we get a glimpse of what it's like to be the daughter of a powerful woman. We learn that the girl in the xin family is helping the master of the house, and that she's been keeping a watchful eye on the master's daughter. The master is worried that one day he'll be unable to control his daughter, and so he's worried that the daughter in the family will be able to help him. The daughter, however, has been helping him, and the master is happy that she has been able to do so. He tells her that he can't remember how many times he was nearly killed, but that because she is his mother, he trusts her so he will help her at all costs. He says that he wants nothing more than a warm family, but his mother has put him through hell. He's so angry that he won't eat tonight, and he tells the master that the most painful memories in his life are the ones that made him believe that his mother loved him. But, he says, he finally realized that love was only when he lived with the green family, and this was the reason why he helped the master in the first place. He warns the master not to do anything that will embarrass him again, and to remember that he just gave her an "injection of witchcraft" . He doesn't know how the daughter will react to this, but he does know that she will refuse to listen to anyone who tries to grab her.
