Back at the hotel, Shane tells Mina and Catherine that it's a pity that Joely committed suicide. She's so powerful, he says, that her cultivation tank exploded and she was killed. Shane wants to kill them all, but Catherine tells him not to worry, because she's got an antidote for the problem. She tells Shane to give her the antidote, but Shane can't deal with her. He tells her to stop talking nonsense, and to give him the antidote. She finally wakes up, and Shane says he's not satisfied with her, so he'll let her go. He says he has a package waiting for him, and he'd like to send it by express delivery, but the college staff won't let them go to Carla's house, so they're going to have to find a place to hide. He invites them to his house for a bath, and they agree.
