Back at the police station, the Chief of Police tries to convince Captain Gauthier to come with him to the fight. The Chief tells him that he's going to have to deal with a bunch of documents, and the Captain is already on his way to the scene, so the Chief asks him to sit down and deal with them. The Captain says that he suspects that the Chief is involved in the fight, and he begs the Chief to come along with him so that he can clear his name of any suspicions. He tells the Chief that he also suspects that someone is trying to kill him, but the Chief doesn't believe him, and tells him to put the documents on hold until the fight is over. He says that if they don't get there, they can capture some of the enemy's soldiers and interrogate them, and that they'll be able to figure out who they really are. He asks the Chief what happened while they were away, and she says that the academy issued a bounty for them to capture them. They attacked the Todd family, and they disappeared.
