Carla and Selia are on their way to collect information from the other witches. Carla asks Selia if she would like to practice her ability to jump off cliffs. Selia replies that she would rather practice it by jumping off a cliff than by watching others do it. She then asks Carla if she'd like to learn how to use the fourth witch's flying ability, which she calls "return flight." Carla says that she's going to practice using the flying ability first so that she can use it later on. She also says that if she doesn't use it, she'll kick her down the road. She tells Selia that she has something to ask her, and asks her to call her "green stephanie." Selia says that it feels wrong to simply call her her "stephanie" , but then she says that calling her "high wess" would be "respectful" . She goes on to say that she wants to learn to use her flying ability carefully, so that when she jumps off the cliff, she will be able to use it to return to her original form. She says that the past four witches didn't have a good end, and she wonders why they were granted the right to control the future by god.
