The next morning, Samia introduces herself as Miss Ann. She tells the audience that she is a witch and that she has come to clean the witches' house. She explains that in the world of the gods, there are only two ends for witches: animation and death. If a witch wants to die, she can repeat the names of the two gods loudly. If she does not want to be a witch, she will be eaten by the gods. Samia tells her that the fire in the house is too small to eat with, and she wants to kill her father.
