Even though he's been kicked out of the game, Gui still wants to be with him. He admits that he lied to him about his poverty, but he says that he'll get back into the game and try to win Gui's heart. He says that Gui is plain-looking, not cute, and that he doesn't like her at all. He's afraid of his "selfish and despicable self" that crept up on him while he was trying to break free of the poverty cycle. He suggests that Gui and he walk together when they're tired. He can lend them money if they need it.
