In this chapter, Berich introduces us to his new friend, Fugui jia. Berich tells us that she is a wealthy woman who has just returned from a trip to France. She is hosting a party for her son, and she wants to introduce him to some of her friends. He tells her that he has invited a large number of friends to the party, and that his little lamb has been working very hard to save money for it. He also tells her about how his parents are planning to buy back the villa that they have rented out. He says that if he wins the game, he will share half of the money with her. He then tells us about how he borrowed a lot of money from his friend, who got eliminated in the game. He asks his friend why he borrowed so much money, and his friend replies that he did not want to acquire him, but that he would just lend him the money as long as he was of help to him
