Berich asks the Governess if she has any questions. The Governess explains that she is gathering fallen leaves to turn into fertilizer. She tells him that she hopes to replace industrial fertilizers with green organic fertilizers. She thanks him for giving them so much money. He shows her the fertilizer factory and tells her that he rented the land and bought the necessary equipment with his own money.
