About This Chapter
In this chapter, Berich and the three other lovers discuss the events of the previous chapter. Berich tells Gui that he has come to the zoo to see the baby panda, which he compares to him. He also tells the other lovers that the panda will no longer owe them, and that it is not a date when there are three people, but when there is only one person. They decide to go their separate ways, and Gui tells Berich that he will be able to join them at the zoo for the rest of the day. He suggests that they go to the aquarium, where they can have a close encounter with the animals. He then tells the others that they will reach the zoo after crossing the suspension bridge. He tells them that the jellyfish are easy to fall from the sky, and he wants to see them. He compares the sea creatures to the pufferfish, which are colorful but pale in comparison. The pufferfish must work hard to win the affections of the females, while the fighting fish must pester the females in order to win their love.
