Berich is ecstatic that Gui has confessed to him. He tells Gui that the next time he tells her the truth, she'll be more likely to win him over. This is a game, he says, and one day, he'll have to tell the truth. He asks Gui to come out of the bedroom and tell him what he wants to hear from him. Gui doesn't answer. Berich says that he already said yes to the question, but he's not sure how to respond to her. He wants to know what's bothering her, and she says that she's worried about Gui.
