In this chapter, we are introduced to a new character, the "ugly woman" . We learn that she is the daughter of a rich man and that she has been forced to marry a man who is not her own father. We also learn that the man she is marrying is a man named Fang, who is also her father's servant. Fang tells the ugly woman that he is going to leave her with dignity and that he will not pester her anymore. Fang asks her if she will accept him as her concubine if he will share her with others. Fang says that this is not a relationship between Fang and jingtian, but only a matter of whether he will accept her as his
