This chapter opens with a flashback to the previous chapter, in which Jingtian tells the priest that he rescued him. The priest tells him that he has memories of the past, and Jingtian asks him why he didn't tell Lily when she was still unconscious. He asks if Lily still loves him, and the priest replies that since he's given up on Lily, he should be more thorough in his love for her. He tells Jingtian not to cling to Lily, since Lily is no longer his. Jingtian says that he'll never be able to escape this place, and he warns him not to run away.
