The Governess asks the Governess why Ling is so angry. She tells him that Ling was caught in the act of flirting with two other girls on the street. Ling is not a good guy, she says, and he is being held captive in a courtyard on the largest street in the city. He tells her that there are twelve guards guarding the courtyard, and that if he manages to knock them all down, he will be able to escape.
