The young princess tells the guards that she has found the body of the murdered eunuch. She is dressed like a "maid" and has no signs of sexual intercourse. She then says that the guards should arrest the murderers, but that they are not the murderers and that they will not resist. They should chop off the legs of the murderers first. The princess says that if they have found the murderers then they should take the murderers back first. She adds that they can use her carriage and horse and she will only charge them 60 taels. She also says that since she is only a suspect, she will not have to pay for the carriage or horse, and that if she does not pay, the carriage driver can sue her. The prince says that he has found someone to blame for the murder and that he will get out of prison soon.
