In this short scene, we learn that Ming and Fu Zhen have met in the capital, and that they are now engaged in a fierce fight. Ming tries to cheer him up by reminding him that he is welcome to stay at the third prince's house if he is not in a rush to leave. He also tells Ming that he should not be jealous of the prince who just met him, because he thinks that the prince is so lovable. Ming, however, is not convinced, and he tells Ming not to be so easily swayed. He suggests that Ming go back to the house and get a drink of water before going to see the prince.
