The magistrate asks for a list of missing people. The zheng department will handle the case going forward. The murderer is a "ruthless and brutal person" . The magistrate says that he didn't pay much attention to the scene outside of the cave, and that perhaps he missed some hints. He decides to conduct another search inside the cave. He tells the magistrate that he's already done four searches inside of that cave, so he doesn't need to worry. He says that the zheng's department must now turn the case over to the Ministry of Justice. He wants to get some sleep. He needs to write down all the details of the case.
