In this short scene, we get a glimpse into the mind of a young man named Kim , who has just returned from a trip to Japan with his friend Tetaharu yagi. He is a quality checker at a department store, and he is very fond of his friend. He asks Kim why she is crying, and she tells him that she is tired and wants to go home. She asks him if he loves her, and when he says yes, she asks if it was genuine with him. She says that she stopped thinking of him when she looked at him many years ago, and that she wants a "defined relationship" with him, too. When she says that, he says that he could see himself in him, the way he was when he was "head over heels" for someone. He tells her that he is happy that they are taking the trip together, because he wants to respond to her feelings for him. He says that even though he is still tied to the stupid season, and cannot move a step, he feels hurt because of his "stupid thoughts" .
