The narrator tells us that he and tadamori haven't been in a relationship for quite some time, so he's not surprised that they're still in love. He's also surprised because he knows that henry is having a tough time, and that's why he hurt him in the first place. He also knows that it's impossible to love someone who's been with you for so long, and he wants to break it off now. He wants to know why he can't just leave him, and why he never got the chance to do so. He knows that he'll never be able to break his heart off with henry, even if he tries, because his heart just won't let him go of him. The narrator asks why henry didn't start a new relationship the night they were away, and the narrator says that it was because he was on a trip, and it made him feel better. He doesn't want to tease him like that, though, and so he tells him that he loves him.
