In this short scene, the narrator laments the fact that Will is not sending her a single text message. He tells her that he has worked extra hours the day before, and she wonders how he could drag her out to drink when he leaves her on "read" . She asks if she should try calling, but Will says that he cannot because they are "right in the middle" of doing something else. She tells him that he is a "mean person" and that she doesn't want him to be sorry either. He says that when he first started to like her, she told him that summer would eventually pass, but if she spent a year "scrunched in" like that, summer would come again, but jimin told her that it would not pass. She says that she is sorry for giving him a hard time, but that she does not regret the time she spent loving him. He asks her to think about it, and says that it is hard thinking that young, adorable, and "nice seth" is leaving, but he says he wants her to be happy.
